Lo there,

Just hoping there was a way to add data via the internet as having to remove the sim and load airtime and then having to convert it into data seems a bit 80's to me.

thanks in advance

I know nedbank online banking allows, if you bank with them.

If with Vodacom you can login on there site and purchase data from prepaid money. With ABSA you can buy prepaid airtime on online banking. Think FNB as well.

Thanks for the reply guys,

i do bank with nedbank so i'll give that a go, i've just always assumed it would load it as airtime and not data.

My problem is that the sim card is not with me, it's in a router at my parents house. so I'm looking for a way to do it all online, without access to the sim.

i hope cellc rep reads this, they really need to make it easier for people to give them money :)

I have a similar situation with a Cell C SIM in a remotely located GSM alarm system.

Cell C needs to add additional functionality to their/there :) website to allow a voucher recharge and data bundle purchase, much like you are able to do on the Vodacom website.

8ta's website is functionally great. It may not be fancy, but it is brilliantly simple, as your account balance, redeem airtime voucher and purchase bundle are all on the same page and not hidden amongst other menu options.

As far as I know, you cannot even send airtime from one Cell C number to another.
....time for Cell C to catch up......
