Is there a way to record video while changing the orientation of the screen?

Sorry, I'm not sure if that query makes sense.

Basically, I'm looking for an app that would allow me to shoot video in landscape, while I'm holding the phone in portrait. Presumably this mean not being able to record at full resolution, but I don't need HD - I'm fine with SD.

It's a slightly weird request, but I don't suppose anybody has a suggestion?
