Is there an API available for Huwai data card?

Like the title says, is there an API available for Huwai data card? Like a developer kit or something. I would like to connect to the card automatically and send sms's.

There is an API from QualComm that some of the dashboard software uses, but the card does support standard AT commands, so you can download the specs from the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) website.
Specs that will help you are TS 27.007 AT command set for User Equipment (UE) and TS 27.005 Use of Data Terminal Equipment - Data Circuit terminating Equipment (DTE-DCE) interface for Short Message Service (SMS) and Cell Broadcast Service (CBS).

I assume this would be where you got the info to write that app of yours? I've actually been wanting to ask you about that.. I'm on Linux and I'd like to be able to make use of some other stuff (like sending SMS's and such) .. I've even been considering writing some sort of Linux monitor ... maybe.
