Is this Delma swiss watch valuable?

So there's this vintage Delma pendant watch that has been in my family for some time, and I'm curious about whether it might be worth anything to somebody. I know that there were heaps of Swiss watches made over the decades, but the metal detailing on this one is pretty unique to my untrained eye.

Any vintage watch experts in the house?

Some facts:
- The watchmaker still exists: Delma of Switzerland (they were founded in 1924)
- The watch text says '17 Jewels Incabloc' and 'Swiss made'
- 'Incabloc' is a shock protection system that was invented in 1934 by Swiss engineers
- Apparently that system really worked, because I wound the watch last night and it's working now!

That is how they used to make things, hand made to last forever.

Sorry for Hijacking your thread, but on that note, does anyone know of a watch repairer that could fix a vintage wound-up watch?

I have a Wostok watch from my grand-dad, it used to work a few years back, but I haven't wound it for a while and since then it has stopped working. Its the same model as the one in the pic - Wostok.jpg

Good idea! Any mod, do you mind renaming this thread to 'Ye official vintage watch thread'? I figure it'd be better to at least keep it around a common theme.

And The_MAC, you're welcome. The more eyes we can get here the better, so bring it on :)

WASlayer, not sure I'm that desperate for cash. However, if anybody has a few million, feel free to drop me a PM.

There's a guy who registered here a week or two ago, didn't take not of his name, but I seem to recall @CamiKaze asking him a question about a certain watch - Cami do you remember the guy?
