my bad - wasn't getting any replies in the other thread, so i made a new one!

i was looking around for the laptop on other websites and found the second one.

but still - the specs on that laptop are better than most for that kind of price.
has anyone had any experience with LG laptops? and anyone dealt with mynewlaptop or megastore before?

Haven't had much experience with any of the 3. Somehow I just don't see myself going for an LG. Pretty high specs - but you can get a little lower specs for a LOT cheaper. Check out some Acer's maybe - good bang for buck (5600 Series Travel Mate's are nice)

uuum, I think that everybody is dropping prices on the Core Duo laptops, caus of the imminent Core 2 Duo release. It is slated for the 23rd of July, and some companies just want to get rid of existing Core Duo stock ASAP, before it becomes completely worthless...
