Is this the norm for Vodacom 3g/gprs???

AFAIK with my cellphone when im online with 3G i can take calls and the data will still flow. it is only when using GPRS that the problems occur.

So I got the Lenovo here at home trying to update XP with the recent bunch of patches using the 3G card and it is only 8% through after 20 minutes ... it downloads a little bit and then does bugger all for a minute before spurting along.

My house is located opposite the cellphone tower.

Vodacom your 3G sucks.
