IS Uncapped 1MB High Latency to EU WoW Servers

Has anybody else been experiencing high latency to EU servers lately? I'm running of a shaped/unshaped 1MB uncapped, which hasn't been used enough to be throttled, but am sitting idle with a ping of 600ms. As soon as I do anything with other players, it jumps to around 1500 and is completely unplayable. This has been happening on and off for the past 2 weeks now and is getting a little frustrating.

I use an Afrihost uncapped 1MB connection, latency is stable at 200ms

Openweb Gold on IS network, 190 ping constant.

Thanks for the response guys, it seems I need to either switch my provider or change my account type. It would be great to see what priority they give an account on the network before purchase.
