IS vs SAIX on a 4Meg line

I realised today just how much better saix is at the higher speeds... i can switch between accounts on the exact same torrent... SAIX one goes 400KB/s constant... IS on the other hand struggles to break 100KB/s.

noticed the same thing on my 4mb/s account but one thing is for sure that 100kbs on IS is way cheaper than the saix's 400kbs

Is the IS connection not contractually a 1Mb connection?

the trick is private trackers

and i don't think its limited to 1meg cuz on the odd occasion it hits about 170KB/s for a lil while.

From their site and posts here I believe they are SAIX, unless you choose the IS specific package

They are mostly SAIX.

but any package with a large local cap will obviously be through IS, as SAIX don't really offer that.

Also most uncapped accounts are IS, but for the normal stuff it will be SAIX. And moving away from Mweb is much a great idea that it honestly wouldn't matter.
