I think there is a strong possibility a close relative has this and I had already thought so before reading this thread.

Either that or he is just messed up from the army on the border back in the day or something. But he is very poor at registering body language or appropriateness, constantly goes way over the top with noise levels from TV or his own voice without any regard for others, constantly talks and often repeats previous conversations as if points were not made before, often focusses on one hobby or interest in overkill mode for extended periods even months at a time, and also seems to have many of the other traits described in the article - at least 90% of them but with no career focus or objectives.

It can be a real pain to live with. :( but alas it is family.

I watched a doccie on this a little while ago, honestly sometimes it just seems like the kids need proper discipline, as back when I was growing up there was no ADD, Aspergers etc... You were naughty you got a jack.
And in the good old days we threw the mentally ill into pits and tortured them.
