An 8 year old child caught stealing bread in a market of Iran is punished in a public place, in the name of Sharia Law, a aspect of Islam! His arm will be crushed and will lose its use permanently. A religion of peace and love, they say? How can anyone believe them when they commit such inhuman acts?

And there are those on this forum that would like to see this "justice" in SA.

Personaly I think this type of justice should be here in SA but only to over 16's.

Don't go and victimise Islam. In the Christian Bible it also says that if your hand bothers you, you should cut it off.
Personally I feel it's a pretty effective deterrant.

What about all the victims of Islam, I think Islam should apologise to them.
 
I dont think its a hoax, let people decide for themselves, my comments stand.
 
well, put it that way, in UAE you can leave your car on the street, with open doors and your wallet on the seat with money and credit cards clearly visible, nobody will touch it! Why is that? Because there is no tollerance toward crime! Crime must be punished! I would much more like criminals to get punished than innocent unsuspecting people being killed "for fun" by ruthless criminals!

If that should be applicable to 8 years old, that is another story, but if you are 18+, and you stealing, your hands should go! If you kill, your head should go! Simple and effective!

you can build a machine that does it :) simple and unforgiving :D

believe me, after you cut 10 hands and few heads, there will be no more takers! That's the entire point! If people don't get punished for waht they've done, they will do it again, in SA you get away with murder for what? R500? Obviously you won't be too worried if you have to pay R500 for a murder! If you know that the chances are you will pay with your life, you will think twice before you do it!

How often do you hear of people's hands being cut in the Islamic world? It is very rare occurence!

They have the death penalty in several US states, did this reduce crime?
 
as "chiskop" says it's hoax, according to the site it's a stunt to collect money, and if the people in the pic are middle eastern doesn't mean it's got something to do with Islam, it could be a person of any religion not necessarily Islam.

Actually yes. In Texas violent crime is the lowest it's ever been. Murders have declined since 1990 every single year.
