ISP plans for Cell C LTE — Cybersmart and RSAWeb aren't interested

South African Internet service providers (ISPs) Cybersmart and RSAWeb aren't interested in reselling Cell C's fixed-LTE products, the companies told MyBroadband.

However, their reasoning is different, with one focusing on its fibre products over fixed-LTE and the other choosing to remain with its existing fixed-LTE wholesaler.

LTE is somewhere between best effort and worst effort and fokol during loadshedding.

MTN handle the RAN and backbone. The spectrum and break out is still via the CellC network

As I would have expected largely... which means that there is a non-zero (if not significant) chance that MTN will throttle the Cell C traffic, if it endangers their own traffic experience (depending on certain contractual obligations of course)

I moved my kid from Cell C to VC because when load shedding hits, Cell C is dead (in her area).

And Cell C piggy backs of other providers... so why buy from them ?
