I am sure you are a good person and I can only hope you realize that you are doing tap dancing which is common among so called believers when they come across people citing reason & evidence.
Id like to see some re: the topic of the player being hateful or bigoted or a homophobe or whatever.
As to tap dancing i am merely expressing what some of the faith uses to explain things , nobody can know all or even most of anything so lets take the religion out of it and just work on facts.
How is he hateful or bigoted or phobic of homosexuals ?

unemployment for christians
wtf are you on about
i know its friday, but it's a little early to be drunk
The real world repurcussions are he may lose employement opportunities , i agree it is too early for someone to be so drunk as to not be able to follow the convo.

Nope Hitler being a devout Christian asked for forgiveness so by your reasoning he is in heaven.
Once again we do not know if he asked for forgiveness , you need to cool down on the assumptions.

Does it make you uncomfortable that Ghandi is in hell and Hitler is in Heaven. Mearly due to the fact that Ghandi is not Christian.

I am not uncomfortable about things you are trying to make me say , i find it offensive that you would say these things.

Also apparently hitlers brand of christianity did not support the divinity of Jesus , so in other words not a christian.

he has only himself to blame for that.
when you live a public life you need to measure your words and actions - or be prepared to accept the consequences of your actions

You always have some convenient excuse to weasle out of things next the Pope is not a real Catholic.
Atleast when i say something its been written about by a bunch of people who study it and not just pulled out of nowhere.

For the record nobody can explain why he should lose his job due to hurt feelings , take the hate for Christianity out of this and just go on cause and effect.
Cause - he said something that hurt feelings.
Effect - loss of employement opportunities.
Lets scale this down to non celebrity folks and ask ourselves , do we want this kind of thing to happen to average joe ? Its not even a case of hate speech its just if you offend someone you lose your job , does this seem fair or does this seem like something that can be abused by people ?

why not
if he wants to spout crap must others sit around in silence ?
if he had half a brain he would of thought about the consequences

live by the sword, die by the sword
The thing is that nobody would have to sit in silence , they should be welcome to say what they like back freely without fear , thats how free speech works .
Half a brain ? if the people calling for his removal had no mob power then he would not face life changing consequences , perhaps just people telling him hell awaits would be fairer.
What you advocate for is just actually known as escalation of force , if someone swears at you or flips you the bird in traffic do you think you should get a mob together and go beat him up ?
