His belief is his choice... Him using a social media platform to put forth his beliefs to that many people is a problem...

Many sportsman are more than likely homophobic or have very weird beliefs... But they don't use their social media platforms to espouse those beliefs to millions.

His religion also encourages the spreading of the word of god...

Secondly you see people quoting bible scripture on a daily basis on social media sports people included, you see them praying on the field, you see team prayers on the field and change rooms, you see them thanking god for winning at the after game interview broadcast live to millions around the globe. Those are all dandy until someone picks a verse that's not so popular.

It’s a bit crazy all these people all following the same book/s and getting 1000s of different interpretations. I dunno, you’d think the word of God would somehow be unambiguous. Is that to much to ask of, erm, a god?
