I wonder how "poverty" is to be defined - exactly what is "poverty"?

Is it perhaps every/all those that don't have what someone else has?
If everyone had only R100, would everyone be "wealthy", or would everyone be "poor".
If most people had only R100, and a few people had R200, would the R100 owners be considered "poor" for no other reason that they did not also own R200?
If someone owned R400, would the R200 owners then also be "poor"?

Must everyone own the exact/same amount of money?

Let's also not forget the fact that the anc has stolen billions upon billions (could it be a trillion or more, even?) of rands from the poor.
If that money was spent the way it was meant to be spent, the picture for SA's black population would look very very different today. (Actually for the whole of SA's population, but especially for the poor black folks.)
But, of course, it's easier to steal the money, enrich yourself and then blame someone else -the white devols in this case.
This way they can just continue getting away with it until there's nothing left.
The uneducated (by the anc's own design) people will continue to believe the party that has lied and stolen from them for a quarter of a century.
The fewer "clever blacks" the better. "Clever blacks" can see through the anc BS and will stop voting for them -unless they also have a finger in the pie somewhere.

Let's get this cleared up, 'that' money is MY money, and I will do with it what I want even if you or anyone else believes my blood relatives didn't earn it or deserve it. Troll. Read my previous posts and see how completely wrong you are about redistribution. I assume you are just a troll and not a moron. Even if there is full genocide and blacks kill all whites and take over everything, blacks will still be 20 times poorer on average than an American or Australian. This is also assuming all the wealthy blacks also give up what they own and just keep net assets of $22k each. If not, then the poor will be even more poor.

I knew SA would be behind but the numbers even shocked me. Didn't know that we were so far behind the first world in terms of wealth. What also makes things worse is that we also pay much more for tech products like phones than Americans because of taxes, even though we are 20 times poorer on average.

Being so far behind other countries has other major implications like tax revenue. At the same tax rates, America and Australia collect and can spend 20 times more on each adult citizen. That's lot more money for government to spend and improve living standards every year. Meanwhile much of whatever little SA collects in taxes is used for things like social grants instead of improving the country.

Blacks can't get rich by taking from whites. There's too many.

The stats say that the mean wealth per adult in SA is $22k. So if you distribute all wealth in SA evenly throughout the entire population this is what each adult will be worth. SA is the 64th country on the list. This is not even counting the ton of kids that are not adults yet. Our population is also growing faster than first world countries so we are becoming poorer on average relative to the rest of the world.

For comparison, the mean wealth per adult is over $200k for all the top 20 countries. Mean wealth per adult in Australia and USA is over $400k. South Africa is poor as ****. Even if you take everything from whites and spread it around you'll still be 20 times poorer than the average American or Australian.
