How do you expect uBaba to survive?

As per the maintenance case,

Zuma to pay R95K alimony

THE Pietermaritzburg High Court has ordered former president Jacob Zuma to pay monthly maintenance of R95 000 to his soon to be ex-wife, Tobeka Madiba-Zuma. Zuma, a polygamist, will also be liable for all private school-related fees for their minor child and is expected to make an initial contribution of R50 000 within 10 days towards the former first lady’s legal costs.

...

The bank statements revealed that he received a number of amounts on a monthly basis. His FNB account had a credit balance of R246 537 while his ABSA account sat on R 209 301 as of August 2020. Statements also showed additional monthly income of R16 739 since March 2018 from Sanlam investments.

Upon further inspection it was discovered that large cash deposits were often made into the bank accounts, as well as smaller regular credits of over R2 000 at the beginning of each month.

Between September and October 2020 amounts of R100 000 and R60 000 were deposited while in February 2021 six payments of R11 964.61 were also received. Another regular monthly payment was of R4 594.33.

The court learned that in 2018, the former president also received an amount of R200 000 from a “Ntombela” and R1 158 683.49 but the cash was often withdrawn as fast as it came in. The statements also showed other regular large cash withdrawals and that FNB and ABSA accounts operated mainly on overdraft until July 2018 when the last instalment for his home was debited.

Dali and co, and keeping Manyi in service, must also cost him a pretty dime, or so it is believed. There are other income streams the public and the courts aren't privy to. From the above matter, that alimony should keep him relatively broke taking under consideration the property he must upkeep, but they are not catered to by him. Zuma’s status will remain and always be a mystery. The question though, does he even pay tax?

What cattle does he have worth 6.5 million? This isn't Ankole like Ramaphosa has.

This,

isn't worth that much. Then there is the question whether it is his cattle?
It's Nguni but still it is worth over a million

That is corruption, it is public cattle promised to the 'marginalised' given to the political elite. It would be a crime to seize that cattle, but it should be seized and rightly redistributed to the people it was promised to.

The ANC created this, and it is their responsibility to bring an end to this, but they all received 'cattle'.

It would be a circus, indeed, to see this property seizure immorally addressed.

Cattle is the perfect gift even if stolen as you don't sell them and let them breed. When they get too old you just slaughter them.
When people say they are stolen and they want the cattle back you say you don't have them, never sold them and they died of old age.

To go back to this question,

Then there is the question whether it is his cattle?

how Zuma put the cattle to use would need to be explained. This is livestock, and it is compulsory to be marked, and this mark is registered on the national registry. In the case the cattle were acquired with public money and then marked as Zuma's own would raise a whole new legal problem. This is an old matter which hasn't been addressed, nor pursued to my knowledge.

I doubt that the cattle have been marked, and hence, can't be collected. In the case the curator does decide to collect the cattle then they are collecting stolen property. As I said, the ANC created this, they need to end this.

We can't keep going in circles with Jacob Zuma, at some point we would need to deviate.

Call me if they actually do it.

I am curious whether the disbanded MKMVA will return to their Nkandla guarding duties.

Skimread raised an interesting point with the cattle, and I see Pauli van Wyk also brought up the point that cattle may be collected. In the case the cattle were purchased with taxpayer monies and is seized under this mandate then Jacob Zuma didn't pay back any money, but rather the taxpayers did. The media shouldn't entertain this idea, since the cattle have a huge question mark over their heads.

He would have had a problem if he didn't declare it but he did declare it as a donation.
Any person who makes a donation pays the tax on it. Not the person receiving the donation.

Zuma was lucky as he has the public protector in his pocket.

Let's say a company prior or just after getting a government contract/tender pays a kickback or makes a donation from their company account to the ANC or an ANC member. According to the public protector's finding that is not corruption since it was declared as a donation by Zuma.

Same way the ANC doesn't have to repay kickbacks it receives.

From my understanding the PP only cleared Supra Mahumapelo, but the Hawks and the AFU is still investigating the company which 'donated' the cattle to Jacob Zuma. I guess the company is being scapegoated.

At least I know that it is under investigation, and the curators should be wary.

The sheriff will visit and just submit a nulla bona return :(

Need to send a proper sheriff in, one with some balls, strip the whole homestead of vehicles, fridges, deepfreezes, generators, couches and anything of value (except socks and beds).

The sheriff should check the basement while he's there.
