I'm not missing out on anything. Hollywood is just rehashing the same VHS collection you have almost yearly.

Not necessarily. If I were downloading movies to watch, and could no longer access certain websites, I wouldn't then go and watch it at a cinema instead. If I ever watched it at all, I would wait until I could rent it for R10.

How about looking at the consumer protection act first? The likes of Multichoice that could allegedly contravening such act?

Well with the bill passed to regulate online content in South Africa this is actually now a serious possibility.

I`m against blocking of online content in general, I don`t believe this government to be adequately qualified as a moral judge to determine what i`m allowed and not allowed to look at.
Next, Cloudy`s next incarnation, rich from being bought by some publisher, might and will probably degree that 90% online content should be (anc approved) South African.
They`ll use the moral high-ground (piracy and protection of children) to do it.
