Sign up with GoogleTechfusion (Pty) Ltd, a Pretoria based IT Support company, is offering an internship in the IT Support field. The internship programme is aimed at providing workplace exposure and experience through skills transfer in Information Communication and Technology and does not guarantee permanent placement at the end of its duration. The internship programme is offered for a period of 12 Months with effect from March 2015, only to South African citizens. Successful candidates will be required to sign a contract for the duration of the training period.
Eligibility Criteria:
You must be an unemployed South African citizen with an IT Diploma or currently studying towards an IT Degree or diploma and under the age of 25.
You must have a Valid Driver’s license and South African ID Document
You must have a Grade 12 certificate
Good understanding of networks and networked computer environments
Must have Eagerness to learn
Must be pro-active and dedicated
Must be an innovative thinker who enjoys a challenge and has a passion for Technology
Basic Duties
Gain experience in working within an IT support environment
Hands on training on Windows desktop and notebook environments i.e. reloading of Windows software, setting up new hardware for customers.
Loading of software programs
Setting up e-mail accounts when required
Setting up various routers
Collecting stock from IT hardware Vendors
Maintaining and updating customers information databases
Gain experience in Data backups and maintenance
Assisting other IT Support staff and technicians with general office duties
Organising the workshop area and maintaining inventory lists
Documents Needed:
• Certified copy of your ID
• Certified copy of your matric certificate
• Your CV
• Academic transcripts
Remuneration:
Annual Package R50 000 - R60 000 per annum dependent on experience and qualification.
