If not can't we start a collection to get him there? I see Outdoor warehouse has a special on kayak.
What will the people of brakpan do without their sage kortbroek & plakkies (sometimes seen in a jeanpant) braai-side political commentator, and his "Hugo, bel die polisie" goose?

PMP manufactured millions of 7.62x39 rounds at some stage (of course not for our SAPS and SANDF), a lot was exported but I would be surprised if at least some did not end up in local hands.

Not sure if they still manufacture these currently.
I have some of that ammo. No....they haven't produced since then, and none of that stuff has been picked up at crime scenes. All the AK ammo found is east Block surplus.
There were no guns at all in the ammo shipment. I have the list of the ammo that was in there.
As for other containers of "AK's" that went missing....I'd like some proof of that. The in-transit laws are hectic and unlikely there were 2 containers of rifles destined for elsewhere. Haven't heard of any orders for Lesotho or Swaziland, and it would need to be one of those countries if they were going via SA and were unloaded here.
Also, no new AK style rifles have been taken from crime scenes aside from the usual expected ones.
