Of course it will be an error, otherwise how will all the cadres stick their piggy noses into the trough?

The SACP is about as communist as the pope is muslim.

This open-endedness has clearly been exploited by unscrupulous private contractors and by state officials manipulating supply chain processes.

The difference is private contractors aren't paid to look after the country's finances like state officials are.

But then what would a communist know about honesty?

Electricity privatisation is already happening through the backdoor anyway. The future is very clear: middle-class households and businesses all over the country will slowly but surely switch over to generating their own electricity themselves through solar, and erode what little paying customer base Eskom has. Eskom is going to wake up one day and discover they have no paying customers left, and a whole country full of poor people who have no intention of paying a cent for electricity.

Privatisation would also result in significant increases in the cost of electricity for households and industry.

VS the extremely low increases we currently get

It would be a mistake for everyone on that particular gravy train. Can you imagine having to actually work for the money you get paid each month?

Commies said it was wrong to privatise - therefore it must be the right thing to do.

It's generally a much bigger mistake to pay any attention to anything the SACP says.

Are there truly any policy differences between the SACP and the ANC? Anyway. Mistake? Like the current situation is not a mistake? So they mean a worse mistake than the current strategic asset mistake?
