The future is very clear: middle-class households and businesses all over the country will slowly but surely switch over to generating their own electricity themselves through solar, and erode what little paying customer base Eskom has. Eskom is going to wake up one day and discover they have no paying customers left, and a whole country full of poor people who have no intention of paying a cent for electricity.
