Hi, Been with iTalk since 2000. Never had a problem mid contract. Service is fine. Billing is on time, but doesn't contain the information that you need to manage your account mid-month. Their website has introduced some account information, but it won't give you free mins used etc. Had a major issue with them at time of contract renewal. The last renewal in 2006 didn't go well. I wanted to switch between MyCall 100 and My Choice 150, and they got it wrong for four months despite constant calling. Eventually I suspended payment before they sorted it out. Jay

Nice offer!! Can anyone comment on iTalks service??

to be honest: not the best service....had problems when porting from them and also with billing.

another thing: always best to be with the direct SP (like VODACOM SP and MTN SP and CELLC ) = less hassles when adding bundles etc...these guys (Nashua, autopage,Italk etc ) ask for fax requests to add and delete bundles etc

and Italk etc charge u to check ur fee min whereas its free with MTN direct...

BUT the deal is GOOD so weigh the pros and cons..

bad call (excuse the pun)

I've was with them for 4 years and just ported to MTNSP.

the call centre is slow and its not a free call anyway you do it. you also call the same number to get your balances, so again not free.

to setup anything (sms bundle, etc) you must go instore or call them, then you must fax through doc's and id copy.

the billing date is the last day of the month, but if you pay them via a deposit at FNB, then you can stall them till the 2nd or 3rd

there are far too few walk in centre's, nothing at canal walk (those in cape town will understand)!!!

I;ve been with MTNSP for 4 days and already am much much happier :D

good luck and enjoy the phone, but you'll hate the service!

Luckily being with Autopage and Nashua for 2 year periods over the last 4 years I have hardly had to make any changes to my service.

If my contract is running and I have my SMS/Data Bundle attached im happy.

I think I made one change to my current Vodacom Talk 120 and thats removing insurance on the package. Autopage I made two modifications, loaded a SMS bundle and asked them to reset my voicemail access code.

So, I aint that heavy a customer care user :) There is also a iTalk store up the road from me in Durbanville, so im happy :) Regional is also bout 15 minutes away from me.

However, thanks for the warning. Lets hope they have improved their service since you were a customer. Even if it were only 4 days hehe ;)
