When my kid was at school, he dressed up like a boer soldier and did a comedy skit in English with an Afrikaans accent. No doubt there would be plenty of people who could find it offensive. That doesn't mean he was intending to offend.

I listened to history of rome. And the same guy has another podcast called revolutions. Maybe it can be described as dry. It's not as "entertaining" as hardcore history or history on fire.

But I still think its really good definitely not boring. The very first few was a bit annoyingly short.
