Look at all these little fascist nazi cnuts pledging allegiance to the flag dating back to the 1800s, way before any nazi salute,

Yeah we all know that hands raised forwards doesn't automatically mean it's a a Nazi salute. But sometimes, it totally does and it's blatantly obvious when that's the case. Especially these days, the hands forwards salute gesture is so closely associated with Naziism that it's unmistakeable when you see it.

And also, it's kind of a trend these days:

Hey maybe they were just singing a folk song that just happened to have the same tune and words as a Nazi marching song, while trying to shield their eyes from the sun.

You're no different to that lesufi cnut that sees everything he wants to see behind any rock so he can be offended and outraged whipping everybody up in the process until they froth at the mouth.

Kid: It's a roman salute.
cerebus: it's a nazi salute

spectator: sa flag
lesufi: apartheid flag

And so this crap goes on and on, I tell you I have a cold and you say no I have the flu. You'll see what you want to see because you want to be offended, you thrive on it as many others do.

If you're asking me to represent the 'SJW brigade', whatever the hell that is, I would suggest a thorough investigation by the school into the conduct of the children, and some kind of reckoning with their own responsibility as a school. I think it was a poor showing of them to try to dismiss it as a Roman salute. It's possible but quite unlikely that the children didn't intend it the way it obviously appears, but you can't just dismiss the fact that it really looks like they intended to pull a Sieg Heil.

I don't thrive on being offended. I'm not even offended by this photo. It's just that I'm also not an idiot and I kinda think you're trying to make me one.

We're not talking about a modern military salute. Salutes are not limited to the military or authority figures.

What your celebrity example is is a salute whether you like it or not, "a gesture of respect or polite recognition, especially one made to or by a person when arriving or departing.", that's from the oxford dictionary btw.

I salute you for trying but you're not going to magically change the definition of the word or confine it to a narrow sector of use or claim that it's the same as a wave.
Yeah, reaching ponder. If you want to pretend you can't tell the difference between a wave to the crowds by a rugby player and a formal Nazi salute then there is no point interacting with you. Like others here, you argue in bad faith, so waste of time interacting with you... Finally, it's onto ignore for you, number 2

Nobody said it's a fscking nazi salute, that's your interpretation. He's saluting the supporters and there's nothing wrong with it but because the word salute harms your feelings you lose your ****, call th salute a wave (incorrectly) and you get a warm fuzzy feeling.

It's a SALUTE and there is nothing wrong with it.

All I'll add is this: Had Herr Hitler been on the other end this salute, the people giving it would be off to Auschwitz, if not immediately executed in the street outside. If you were to give this as a 'Roman Salute' as well, you'd be sure to end up as feed for the circus animals.

Watch some proper WW2-era movies, like Downfall, so see a Nazi-salute is done properly. This is nothing more than a terrible noise from a bunch of pvssies who would've been ended by those trying to escape both the Roman and Nazi regimes.

Then why are you trying to play stupid by equivocating it with the real salute? Just trying to trigger libs or what? You're not as dumb as that and I'd appreciate it if you didn't treat me like I was too, by constantly misrepresenting and caricaturing my position.

You are adamant its a nazi salute not me.

Secondly liberals wont get triggered, the world liberal has also been hijacked to now mean something else.

I'm not adamant. I think it really looks like it though and my first instinct wouldn't be to sneeringly dismiss any concerns that that's what it is.

Not faceless at all, its largely the Jewish community and organisations.
