I will say this, criticism of the Nazi salute does have validity. It is viewed as a painful expression. The Auschwitz Memorial goes so far as to call it hate speech.

Germany has banned it for the reason that it evokes and elicits memories of a painful past, in which great suffering was ordered under this salute.

These kids are not Nazis. They don't understand the painful expression that this carries. I hope they do learn about the history of this a bit more and appreciate the stupidity of their moment of fun.

The kids should not be hung, drawn and quartered. They should be educated more on the subject.

Those ghettos and camps didnt exist in 39 and the only death camps were found in the soviet regions which the red cross was not allowed to see at will .

That entire comment brings us back to why is crucifixes, churches, religion tolerated considering all of them have caused way more harm in the history of cultures and existence of humanity.

We tolerate them because of tolerance and freedom of expression yet when it comes to certain things like a salute, a dresscode, add whatever someone might feel sad about , then suddenly we apply these vigorous rules of hate speech and bannable offenses.
