They also have a Telkom that tries to screw everybody over. Don't believe everything you read, they do not seem to know what goes on behind the scenes.

BT still controls the local loop and most of the infrastructure. Do you think Telkom would give other ISP's good, reliable and cheap access/service to the local loop?

ICASA should head over to UK and see how not to unbundle the local loop.

I'll remember that when I see my 100 Gig/Month usage logs on BT

Its all relative! As I sit here haemorraging money for a 384k Bit-faster-than-dialup Band (BB) connection, I would happily be complaining that my 24M connection is only giving me 12M speeds.

Human nature, we like a good moan, and we always want a little bit more than we have. I suppose that's why we've been so successful as a species; and in order to survive as the dominant player in Earth(plc) we are going to have to dig deep in our ingenuity banks again!

Just doing my bit to keep the good people of SA happy and having fun!

I'd still take OFCOM over ICASA any day.
