I seem to have forgot its November already, this was due in June/July.

No reports of flooding yet?

Not when you had to drive on the N1 into town earlier. I don't get how people with gray cars don't get that they should turn on their lights.

Yeah man. I think it goes for most cars though. I just love the rain and thunder. Actually often sit outside with a lekker dop just to watch and listen to the rain coming down. It's almost like meditation to me.

The R62 outside Robertson was closed for a while. A small bus did not make it around the traffic circle and blocked the road. Either too much water or too much wine

Was afraid to hydrolock the engine, as the water was as high as the headlights. Luckily made it out alive! However other cars around us were hydrolocked and had to be towed.

Yebo man! Look, it does depend on the fact that your home is not being flooded by the rain, but it's just awesome to watch the rain come down. What breed of dog do you have?

a video I took while on my way home, in strand. I have others uploaded as well on my channel

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ye3uM1M57rE

The water was halfway at the door

Jeez - that's flippin hectic! And I feel for those houses that were on the left of your car - some of them seemed to be a fair bit lower than the flooded road you were driving on.

Here in Panorama it only started really raining from about 3 to 4 pm. But that is simply hectic.

Do anyone know how the conditions look like in Bridgewater, Somerset West? Since it is next to Vergelegen Medi-Clinic.

I'm in Bridgewater and we cannot leave. Road are flooded, cars are floating in the road. Fortunately my house is raised so no flooding. Opposite neighbour was not so lucky. Going to take some pics.

My sister called to go check on her cats, need to go to the airport first.
