iTunes games launched in South Africa

American account is still needed for iTunes Radio, also "cannot connect to App Store"

App Store back up, no idea how the pricing is done, $0.99 apps are either R7.99 or R9.99

Three years and a whole bucket full of do-not-want too late!

Is Angry Birds and Songpop on the SA store?

Angry Birds is, haven't checked songpop

Mac App store games are also available, just no category for them yet

Still happy with a US account. Everything that I want is there.

Wow... Only 3 years behind Google Play... Well done Apple

LoL Now what must I do with my american account ???

What I don't understand is although the google play store is global and no issues there why does apple need to go through our FSB board to launch gaming content and google dont ???

The only logical theory I have is that Apple's App Store uses a local banking merchant gateway, pay local taxes and hence is subject to the FSB ??

Any other ideas ?

And why the hell did it take so long ?

Yeah I'm sitting with a Kenyan account with A LOT of money invested in apps on the Store there. :( I don't think SARS has anything to do with FPB.

Are you saying that if you bought apps on the Kenyan store and swap over - you lose the apps?

Eventually. Now what am I gonna do with my American store account?

Cant you simply go into the settings and change the region,I'm pretty sure you can I did that to get BBM for IOS when it was only available on the new zealand appstore and it worked,so just go ahead and change your region in your phone settings under the appstore menu....

I've found that if I swap stores it says the apps aren't available from the selected country's store. I'll try tonight and see if it's any different.

You'll need to change your address and contact details.

As soon as we get iTunes Radio I will make a full switch. Until then I will just use 2 accounts, like I have for years, without issue.

Log into your local iTunes Store account and authorise the machine... Should sort out any apps from multiple store account issues.
