Yeah not ideal, but there isn't really a good way to hear about it.
Unsure how close they were, they've been divorced for 30 years.
Don't have any family members that are divorced, but I assume if it's the mother of your children you maintain relatively close?

Folks can read the mailer and click on the donate button that's right there in the mail.
Her death, sure, but TFG and and his campaign choosing to include the button is a choice.
You choosing to deny that reality and still carry water for TFG doesn't change a thing.
