So where are in the top 4 most 'miserable economies' of the world (according to Bloomberg) and have a leader who is paid 4'th best.

Can see why the ANC are hell-bent on pushing through Etolls in Gauteng, and eventually spreading it to the rest of SA.

As much as Zuma is overpaid, that list is wrong- what about the Prime Minister of Singapore?

So does this make him, JayZee, the 6th best paid president then? Either way, it's fcking ridiculous. He shouldn't be anywhere near these people. *spits*

Extravagant, sure. But will that also be used by future presidents or is it his private residence?

Wow, though to be fair to the Turks, I assume the palace is the current residence of the sitting president. I doubt that the current Turkish president would still be able to use it after leaving office. So although it's ridiculously extravagant
it's tied to the office, unlike JZ who gets to retire to his.

The point is, both properties were built to appease the autocratic tendencies of the presidents in charge. The Turkish one is even more obscene than Nkandla.

Fair comment regarding the autocratic tendencies -especially considering the Turkish palace was built even after it was ordered to be halted. However the list was about personal benefits of being president, you cannot count the Turkish palace as a personal benefit unless he gets to keep it when (or if) he leaves office

Depends. Erdogan believes he is accountable to no one, much like Zuma. There's an equally good chance that he may keep this palace as there is in Zuma keeping Nkandla once his tenure has run its course.
