Jacob Zuma government’s education quality shocker

So our department of education's response to this can me summarized as "Whatever."

The problem is this: while they may reject and disregard "the opinions or perceptions of selected executives", the rest of the world does not. These people's opinions matter to others, and simply dismissing them as unimportant, instead of acknowledging them, really does not establish any credibility in our education department. While I'm quite ashamed by the report, I am mortified by the department's response. Its own employees have become a victim of its inability to fulfil its sole mandate: education.

Parents flocking to private schools, even though they make big financial sacrifices - that tells you everything.

“[We] reject this finding as it is based purely on the opinions or perceptions of selected executives,” the department said.

Fine. But aren't those executives the one's hiring and implementing company strategy? So surely, they don't like what they are getting or about to get from the education system.33% anyone?Who would blame the executives?

Interviewing 45 executives? ****ing lol, I'm not one to defend the ANC or our education department, but it's a utterly useless report.

:DThe worrying thing is we came last in a utterly useless report.:D

Deny reject deny reject deny blame deny reject ...... till when. Ok at least do something than waiting to deny everything that comes your way. Whether 45 execs or a 1000 of them were interviewed the fact remains that the education system is crap and the 35% pass mark says a lot. I'd be more surprised if we scored any higher on that list

I would realy like to meet the sangoma that Jacob Zuma is using. Man, he's very strong.

Well after 20 years of cancer ruling, people still vote for the cancer. That alone should tell how low is SA's education level.
