Nope, we need him and his cronies jailed. Death is the easy way out

Now some nitwit will say we must respect our elders and poor sick old man
Of course I would prefer jail time for him. But honestly... If he dies I'll take it.

oldest excuse used by high flying criminals in SA.
I remember the other ANC guy that was apparently sick and was later found chilling at a braai.

Was this not a certain Schabir crony, who was terminal, yet managed to crawl out for some golf?

As much as I don't want that to happen... If he was to be offered a pardon, I would make it contingent that his revelations lead to the successful prosecution of at least 5 senior politicians/executives at SOEs within a certain timeframe, and the return of at least R40bn.... Make his pardon performance linked.....

So in optimistic terms (without a plea deal negotiated to zero time): Actual criminal trial from commencement to completion +- 10 years. Appeals process time until completion +- 10 years (Comrade Zuma now 97 years old). Only then would we begin to seriously look at factors like age, health and so forth. Then who is the president holding presidential pardoning powers at the time? "Comrade" Zuma is never doing hard time.

Not if. He will eventually die. It is a certainty. Therefore that is not a punishment of any description.
Also might become the living dead the same way Mugabe did by almost living forever hehehe...

You are probably spot on. As the saying goes, "justice delayed is justice denied". It's disgusting.
