ah, the colours of corruption; all the stolen cash is green, the corrupt coal and gold mining contracts are black and yellow
There was a lot of public funds theft and mineral looting in SA before the ANC even took charge of the country.

That goes but Cyril is THE new leader of the ANC and the one who matters most.

Except that doesn't seem to play out in reality, they try govern by consensus in this large NEC structure.

Nobody seems to have the final "say" in these things, so we have to suffer through factional bollocks and ebbs and flows of who supports what and when.

And so 36 years later it's still ok to loot?
edit: and there is more people to look after now, yet cadres steal more then ever.

and yet we had the cheapest electricity in the world. It was more like skimming than the looting that's happening now. Skimming is sustainable.
Because in those days, there were millions of Edison's sitting in their houses, generating electricity and feeding back to grid. I miss those days.

In "those" days, they stole some eggs. The current lot stole the eggs, most of the chickens, broke down the coups and chased the owners off the farm.

Give him the 55 pound fine and be done with it. We don't want a crisis and bloodshed.

Yes there's consultation like in any sane government but the buck stops with Cyril, I promise you.

Cheapest electricity mainly for the white minority. It was not a national utility.

All this debacle has shown is how easy it is to manipulate and play the legal system against itself if you have the legal-willpower to do so.
