I have an idea that Zuma will attend his ConCourt hearing, but will oppose giving testimony to Zondo or the commission. They will probably, again, set another date to allow the parties to deliberate, and then well, rinse and repeat.

OT, but I see the Zulu king’s memorial also had controversy. Apparently, the Zulus opposed Ramaphosa because he must come to terms with Zuma??? That is why the police was tested at the memorial. I read some Tweets that Ramaphosa must have given Zuma the opportunity to do the eulogy. Maybe the Zulu nation must make Zuma king and then wave it to the state that Zuma is bound to Customary Law.

Back on topic, I wouldn't be surprised to hear the ConCourt rule that Zuma may give testimony in private, but that would challenge the commission's case as they are still waiting on Zuma's submissions (some which would include testimony).

I don't know, but I am expecting Stalingrad and really don't think that the state wants to arrest Zuma. The state would continually wish to give him more time.

The ConCourt must be decisive on the 25th, they muck around then you know.

I think that's just IOL spin on things, the morons blocking the gate were doing it in protest because they were not allowed inside the yard.

What concourt hearing? His contempt hearing is on the go and he's not attending.

It is the Constitutional Court that will hear the application for contempt of court order brought against Zuma on the 25th. Zuma failed to file a responding affidavit or notice to oppose, but that doesn't mean that the hearing is struck off the roll, the result of this is that all the facts, which is alleged, as filed by the commission must be taken to be established. The argument has been furthered since due to Zuma's failure,

“The [inquiry] has asked for a punitive order in the form of an unsuspended term of imprisonment, which in its nature, would not permit Mr Zuma to avoid imprisonment by undertaking to comply,” the inquiry states.

“But [the inquiry] also left the possibility open to Mr Zuma to submit himself to the authority of the Constitution and this Court by undertaking to comply, which has not happened.”

This, the inquiry says, makes it clear that, “... Mr Zuma has remained resolute in his defiance of the Commission and this Court, with the result that no purpose would be served by a suspended sentence”.

The inquiry also strongly contends that Zuma’s defiance of the Constitutional Court order that he comply with the subpoenas issued against him by the inquiry poses a profound threat to the “rule of law” and was, “... calculated to undermine public trust in the judiciary and the administration of justice as a whole.

“The gravity of the threat cannot be understated,” the inquiry states.

now Zuma is faced with a motion of having a suspended sentence removed from the equation. Will Zuma attend his contempt case on March 25th? If there are not any counter-arguments to be made or taken under consideration then 'ideally' Jacob Zuma should be arrested on the 26th, hence I said that there is a chance for further deliberation which is up to the ConCourt to decide.

Zuma has been making threats since the first time he got fired by Mbeki. Nothing has ever come of his threats and when he went to the commission he made more accusation without going into specifics and got forced to backtrack where he actually named people.

Seeing that the topic was blocked, think about this. Apartheid Vehicles? https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/thr...ng-white-people.1018396/page-37#post-27112522

It actually did but was blocked by the ANC in order to comply with their superiors. Isn’t the wealthiest man in the world an ex(white) South-African that left the country as he couldn’t see a future for himself here? Tesla comes to mind or are you so you might want to educate yourself before posting idiotic statements. That goes for Excalibur as well.

Don't be too desperate, it's unattractive.
