Justice Sisi Khampepe, who wrote the majority judgment, was thorough. She did not leave anything out and addressed all aspects of the matter. Justices Theron and Jaftha have dissented in a minority judgment but they agreed that Zuma is guilty of contempt. Justice Khampepe notes that the majority judgment is unappealable. This means Zuma has to go to jail for 15 months.

He will not go to jail.

I think the SAPS and the Corrections Department are going to struggle to get away with that tbh...

All the civil rights organisations are going to be all over them as of right now to arrest him and put him in chookie.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him in jail, but it will be a luxury 5 star version with his own personal cell and benefits for days.

Forgive my ignorance here because every political thing in SA is TL;DR for me lately - does he have an option to appeal or is this the end of the road?

End of the road... Khampepe made it clear that the sentence is unappealable.
