You don't pay but expect to keep it ?

In all honesty, I would question whether this useless fscktard actually has R7.3m to his name... I think he amassed large power and made other people very very wealthy, but squandered whatever he got or didn't amass large wealth to go with the power.

he has assets outside if this country doesnt he?

he will of course plead poverty if he needs to pay anything. as a lot of people do.

Why not use the money he's going to pay lawyers to offset loan arrears?

If he is not paying this he is also not paying the fringe benefit tax he was suppose to pay.

There the ANC controlled SARS will give him a free ticket whist going after us for every single cent.

If he had large assets outside the country but almost nothing here... Then why is he staying here? He could live out his life like a king overseas and not have to worry about anything...

I honestly think he was outplayed by all his cronies when it came time for the money thing... Everything is in other people's names and now that he can't offer them anything they've cut him off.

I can guarantee you those interests are in other people's names.... And Jacob is only a 100% Zulu boy when it suits his agenda. It's almost a given that he will try to flee like a scolded rat if it looks like things will finally not go his way...

The man has more wives than Henry the Eighth and enough children to fill a long distance bus.

Would not surprise me if he is broke.

The more I think about it and look at what he's doing and such... The more I am convinced he is effectively broke. He relied on other people to fund his life in exchange for tenders and power and and... Not for cash in a foreign bank account.

Surely his children will pay some black tax to bail him out.

His son was/is the family's bagman. The Guptas boasted about making him a billionaire back when they tried to buy Jonas so he has at least that much in the family stash. Word is, it was done that way because elder Zuma is awful at managing money.

zuma might be a charismatic grass roots poster boy for the zulus, but i doubt he has any financial or business skill to accumulate and nurture wealth, as others have said he is probably broke (or rich but cant access funds without implicating himself). Losing nkandla will probably give his reputation a good smacking, regardless of his financial status. Ironically the whole vbs issue was in part caused by the eff, so it looks like malema managed to give zumas finances the middle finger.
