I wonder if you could clarify this Vodacom LTE APN on the Nokia Lumia 920 setting for me please? I know you have used this device as discussed on My Broadband forums giving it a wonderful report. I have one these wonderful devices with my SIM being LTE enabled. When I view Settings/Cellular this has been set to Highest Speed – 4G and Access Point shows Vodacom SA – active with Vodacom LTE – inactive. I live in Cape Town area that does not have LTE enabled BTS’s yet.
With these set parameters settings I have a few questions begging answers.
Q1- When moving into an LTE area will the Vodacom LTE automatically become active?
Q2- If the LTE detection is not automatic do I need to re-configure the network apn setting ?
I thank you for your valuable and apologies for wasting or ask such silly questions.

Your APN should be set to lte.vodacom.co.za and yes when you move into an LTE area it will seamlessly change over :D

Vodacom i dnt understand why you want to regulate Whatsapp, this is the modern age where we cannnot use SMSs to express ourselfs,i also donnt see the point of complaining because we buy data from you and with whatsapp we transfer songs and videos over the internet? isn't that supposed to make you happy?

Metsane, I don't understand why you post in 4 year old thread, there is a thread where you can ask Jannie anything, isn't that supposed to make you happy?
