I am looking for a Java Developer to join my team. I work for a global organisation and manage a small development team. I need an additional South African based resource for workload and time-zone based reasons.

Responsible for the development and support of an automated assessments portfolio as well as the management and continual enhancement of the backend systems that support these assessments. This includes the development of integration points between backend systems and vendor databases and systems, and also integration into other internal systems.

Requirements
- Development of bespoke assessment offerings
- Maintain and support assessment framework, databases and backend systems
- Provide technical support for regional assessment delivery
- Lead or contribute to the delivery of projects, that include design, configuration, programming and installation of technical solutions that meet specified requirements
- Create and maintain project related documentation, ensuring that accurate information is always available
- Follow already set standards and practices but willing to expand those with good communication
Skills Required
- At least 3+ years of programming experience in a work environment (Minecraft doesn't count)
- Java SE 6+
- Java Messaging Service
- Source control best practices
- Git Source Control
- MySQL and SQL database administration
- Web development i.e. HTML and CSS knowledge is a big plus
