Jawug setup help for a friend

Hi guys. A friend of mine needs help to setup his equipment to joing Jawug.

1. Antenna alignment
2. Getting connected to the network
3. His area is North Cliff

What does he need to do? Who does he contact etc?

Any help would be really appreciated. He is very clued with with IT things...but have never done this kind of thing before.

I think he has. He mentioned having gone on there posting pics of a transceiver or whatever you call it for his radio set up that he built from scratch..and apparently some of the guys turned rather nasty and snotty. He did not get very far with them.
