HE could have, but HE did not.
HE gave us free will (the ability to choose).
Actions have consequences.

Sure, but that was pointless in the grander scheme of things, because he would thus have known that as soon as he did that, he was putting us all on a course to where we are right now, which is predominantly suffering and in poverty. There's really no understandable reason for why that would be allowed to happen. And you're argument will probably be something along the lines of how its beyond us to understand etc. etc. but that doesn't make it make any more sense. It just means you defer thinking critically about the situation, unless I'm wrong and you have a surprising viewpoint waiting?

Genesis: 6

5 The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6 The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

9 This is the account of Noah and his family.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God

Not sure where to start.

...regretted that he had made humans, regretted that he had made birds and animals ... so just pressed factory reset ? A mistake was made ?

But Noah was blameless, the only person on the planet who was blameless ? I thought scripture taught that nobody is or was blameless, ever ?

Or maybe it's a euphemism, an allegory or a parable, a metaphor or figurative speech....

Can someone help me, if all the world was flooded with sea water, how did freshwater fish survive?

How did the ark maintain different climates within itself to cater for the various animals specific natural habitats?

How did they keep animals like elephants well exercised?

And stars? The world was created in 7 days, 6000 years ago, according to Young Earth Creationists. Given the speed of light and the distance that stars are away from Earth, how do we see some of them, if they were only created 6000 years ago?

The only answer I need is, where did Noah keep the woodworms on the ark?

Is this part a literal part or metaphorical - Leviticus 21:9 -
And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire

Or this part? Deuteronomy 25:11-12 -
When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her.

Or what about Deuteronomy 23:1 that says if a man looses his genitals for any reason he cannot go to heaven?

And Leviticus 12:2 and 12:5, where a women is unclean for two weeks if she gives birth to a girl, but only unclean for 1 week if it is a boy?

Are women also inferior to men, where according to 1 Corinthians 11:3, a man is head of a women? Is this metaphorical or literal?

Was the bible literal or metaphorical when it went all Handmaids Tale in 1 Timothy 2:11-14 and said -
Let the women learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
.

Similarly where 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 forbids women to speak in Church and must ask from their husbands at home what they want to learn more about the faith. Literal or metaphorical?

And when God commands that those women who do not believe in him must be ripped up into pieces and their children are to be torn apart in Hosea 13:16, was this literal?

What about contradictions in Genesis on how man and women came to being?

Or when God condoned slavery in Leviticus 25:44, which was used by Southern States in the US to justify slavery?

And Mathew 23:33, which was Jesus diatribe against Jewish leaders? For centuries was used to justify Antisemitism, as Jesus compares Jews to the serpant devil. Literal or metaphorical?

Why is the bible so open to interpretation?

What is wrong with any of those? It isn't open for interpretation it's pretty clear and straight forward.

I just don't get the point you are trying to make? Do you still see the tribe of Levi around today?
Advocacy of slavery, antisemitism, infanticide and sexism is all ok by your own admission, as you see nothing wrong with it?

One has to wonder if you troll or if these are serious questions worth answering..... especially since many of them are softballs.

Serious question, as I cannot see how fresh water fish, some of which rely on very narrow and specific conditions, survived in seawater.

I'm okay with some forms of slavery. It will really solve our unemployment issues. As long as it is consentsual.
Not all criticism of Jews are antisemitic.
Infanticide, I geuss you are a pro abortion hypocrite. Only having a problem with it when it suits you.
There's no sexism in traditional gender roles and having the man as the head of the household.
