No that would not prove the existence of free will. It would only prove that either we have free will or the illusion of free will. We would not be able to distinguish one from the other. Even the fact that I treat the world as though I and others can make choices could be nothing more than a predetermined action over which I have no actual control. How would I be able to tell?Proving free will is easy. If you have a circumstance where you are forced to do one thing but for whatever reason choose to do the opposite you have exercised free will.
