The Minister of Water approves this postYou guys should all invest in Jojo tanks like the rest of Africa does.
Except for the fact that it was a large part of JHB, things like air bubbles form in large pipes causing blockages, and burst pipes. Also when water did come back for a lot of suburbs rationining went out the window and they drain towers.I believe that there may have been some work, but that is not the reason for the outage. Still no water in most towns. I suspect that they can no longer provide water and is now rationing between towns and neighbourhoods.
There is no reason why water should still be down anywhere. Tanks should have been filled up. They are definitely busy with rationing.

Plus there was some damage done to a main valve that fed Randburg and Roodepoort, so enough conspiracies this was down to old infrastructure, "vandals (thieves) and people being people
Fine on my side of itAlmost no pressure in Wilgeheuwel this morning
Dude Eskom wouldn't even exempt JHB when there were issues after flooding. Also the major pumps don't have issues it was the smaller ones and even then the system is recovering.Anyone else find it strange that the City of Joburg did not ask Ek'sdom to excuse the areas, where the pumps are, from Loadshedding until the Towers/Resevoirs were full?
Nope you still have an issue with a burst pipe, my pressure has been strong like bull since Sunday morningI guess low water pressure is our new normal after the "upgrade"
You are in a serious need of a brain transplant.I believe that there may have been some work, but that is not the reason for the outage. Still no water in most towns. I suspect that they can no longer provide water and is now rationing between towns and neighbourhoods.
