Although prices have dropped, telecommunications services in the country are still expensive compared with other countries. The majority of South Africans, especially the poor, do not have access to the internet.
Every article lists this as a reason why we should have better priced and structure internet access. And it makes my hair on the back stand up in rage, the less privileged citizen care less about this, they need basic social and medical care, education etc.....

Where this aspect is important is in driving this need on basis of economic growth of the country that should grow ability of the society to provide for the need of less privileged for adequate social care. Having said this IMHO the government coffers are pretty packed up, and some serious miss distribution of wealth is exhibited.

And this miss management of resource is echoed across the telecoms sectors, everyone of the big players is using the less fortunate as a scape goat to further their profit margins!

Well Sirs poor and profits should not be conjured in one thought. But that is what reflection of your characters are.
