Will work in close contact with US-based members of our technical staff and editorial and tech staff in Cape Town, Dakar and other locations. Candidates should have programming experience and be comfortable with perl or a similar programming language, like ruby or python. Heavy emphasis on the Unix/Linux command line, the HTTP protocol, and the structure of HTML documents. Also needed is basic knowledge about hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, repairs and replacements. Salary based on employment history and skill level.
