What site you using ?
The one I found with the most regular surveys that I qualify for is GlobalTestMarket.

That's the one. I normally cash out at 1100 because that is 2 $25 Amazon cards but have waited longer to get 4 x $25 cards and have my family also on there who have cashed out and other people but not sure how they doing.

Global also sends me surveys for product testing and that way I don't have to spend money for stuff as I get free products.

If you don't mind my asking, what is your country of residence that you registered with ?
Reason why I am asking is that it seems to me that a lot of surveys I don't qualify for purely because of the demographic

That's how it works. When I started it was South Africa and like you only got a few surveys a month and cash out was like twice a year as you know then we moved to the USA and I had a fight on my hands because I had plenty points but needed to change address and that took over 4 months maybe more and finally after they changed it I can get up to 10 surveys a day in my inbox. Sometimes it's more sometimes less and yet I still get screened out of most but I cashout maybe every month or every 2 months it really just depends on the survey and who they looking for.

I call BS on this one. I knew a guy who ran a shop - retired pharmacist who wanted to stay busy.
Nice guy, did body-piercings on the side - had a bar fridge filled with Coke under the counter and lots of spare time to read. I used to pop in once a week to say hi and chat. His taste in novels ran from Vonnegut and Asimov to Von Dainken -so the conversations got really interesting.

According to him the money was never good, but the people-watching was incredible.

Just signed up now and waiting to be cleared. Don't understand what they do there but hey it's money.

If you get cleared, check out Reddit. There's tonnes of good advice and guidelines for newbies on mturk.

But if you're from SA as well, I doubt you'll get cleared! I think its been limited recently to the US, Canada, European countries etc.
