Mmmmmmm, I doubt that it is (Israely) Uzzi's you saw. Most probably HMC's or BXP's with semi-auto single shot. Bxp's are very temperamental and we experienced many ad's with them, (I hate walking past security guys with one of those).

Yeah - those UZIs are not as common in this country as they used to be... I imagine the UZIs must be on pention by now... which reminds me... anyone know the story behind the original UZI?

Israeli defense doctrine includes the practice of loading a magazine so that tracer rounds alternate with regular rounds. In operation, the personnel aim by walking the tracers onto the target.

The German Bundeswehr still uses the Uzi under the name MP2 (especially for tank crews).
And the South African cash hesit gangs use anything that fires a round.
