Joburg electrical network rerouting will cost R23 million after M1 bridge fire

City Power's Charles Tlouane says it will cost roughly R23 million to reroute interconnector cables from the Fordsburg substation to Braamfontein after a fire under the M1 highway knocked out power to several parts of Johannesburg.

Tlouane also said the work would "take quite some time", with the municipal power utility estimating it would take at least eight days to complete.

Sentencing them for treason sounds nice but very soon you will have overflowing prisons and the President giving remissions every year. Cable theft in particular is directly linked to our open borders and illegal immigration, more poor people, more homelessness, more people living under bridges, depending on cable theft, robbing motorists in traffic and spiking.

So it's a self created problem that cannot be solved by being a human rights goody two shoes.
