Joburg hotels fill up for 2010 World Cup[GOOD NEWS?]

The savages must be rubbing their hands in glee, just thinking of all the robberies/murders/muggings [and so on] that they can commit once the 2010 PREY ARRIVES.

Many of Joburg's top hotels are already fully booked for the 2010 World Cup. The Westcliff, the city's most elite place to stay, has no rooms available over the 2010 period.

Hans Prenner, general manager of the Michaelangelo in Sandton, today said his hotel was also already fully booked.

And this is likely to be the case for many other hotels as they are quickly filling up four years ahead of the big event.

According to the 2010 organising committee's latest progress report released last week, 18 584 hotel rooms have already been contracted for the event.

Poor soccer fans. They just have no idea what's waiting for them here in South Africa - I wonder how many of them will make it back home?

Quick lets all invest and build a hotel somewhere!!! Mmm time to create a guest house project for that period! There is Money to be had here!

I feel sorry for the ignorant tourists who come here - I bet if the word 'WARZONE' was used, many would cancel their bookings.

Unfortunately the UK is very PC so the chances of the media painting a true picture of SA is highly unlikely.

I did not say I did not want it to come I was just adamant it will be a huge corrupt affair or failure to be funded by Joe the citizen while your GVT goons runs with the loot! That money could have been better spend for now!

Read again GP! C'mon man! I did not say "I do not want the WC to come here" Someone else posturated that Idea and I stated that would be a good lesson to GVT! But as usuall you will quote out of context!

I cannot mention anything anymoer because it is Ok for you racists to call me a Hypocrite! But BTTB, on a complaint I presume, gave me a warning attacking the man that called me a Hypocrite. I presume he got one too, wonder if Tibby did?? Anyway! I do not complain as I do not care what you reverse racists say! I can defend myself no need to run to moderators to do the dirty work for me! I only present facts and if you do not like it highlight my signature and read it! I am also not scared of been banned as I waste my time here anyway. Will not shed a tear, Will miss a few friends tho; but that's life!

OK maybe that quote was out of context, maybe it wasn't - but in one way or another what was being implied is that the 2010WC shouldn't come here irrespective of whether you want it to or not. My apologies if I offended you.

PS: I'm not racist nor reverse racist nor do I see skin colour on this forum. To me everyone here is equal. I do not support any specific political party - just trying to get a point across that not everything points directly to government. Just saying this for future reference :)

I attack the GVT and what they stand for They attack me for it! What can we do Thats life! At least I do not have a bad feeling or notion about my race, where I come from or what I did. Seem to me they have issues within themselves!
