The User Infraction system is designed to automate the management of misbehaving users.

Infractions carry a point total that is awarded to users. When a user reaches pre-determined point levels, the user is given infraction groups. Infraction groups are set up to restrict the permissions of users.

The system can also be configured to institute automatic bans based on points or number of infractions received.
(10 in the case of MyADSL)

The system is actually quite lenient.
The only people who are getting banned are the International Spammer's who get an immediate 10 point penalty which in effect bans that user name.
We are getting a few every day. Mostly one person posting the same garbage across several Forum Topics.

The Moderators are not out to get anyone or ban members so they feel like "Martyrs for a cause". Hehe.
Need I remind you that MyADSL is a Broadband User Group and we shouldn't lose sight of our goals in this regards. About MyADSL.

I think it is a positive indication this. I hope the government realises that they will need to up the ante on crime and infrastructure fast.
