Donald Trump has destroyed the Republican Party by turning it into the political party version of a cokehead. No Republican will ever be president again and neither The House nor Senate will ever be under Republican control again. One can only hope that the Democrat Party does not become corrupted by their new power.

I think this is a naïve prediction to make. All it will take is few million democrats not to vote if they are disappointed in dem rule.

It's naive to think this, imo.
US politics has a pendulum quality to it. Regardless of the 'abysmal end to this presidency, republican voters will, in either 4 or 8 years, take any one or all of the three branches of government again.
The current majority party gets to work on passing legislation, while the minority party gets to work on building for the next election.
