Comrades, just stop. You're trying to engage with on rational level with an argument that is so extreme that there never has, isn't currently, and never will be any practical application of it. The reason is that it is devoid of practicality in it's entirety.

You're just feeding the extremism.
I agree. I have taken corrective action. -;)

Are you saying you want a return to slavery?
Getting Cathy Newman vibes...

Slavery means a very specific thing; it means forcing someone to work by using violence or the threat of violence.

I really don't get the argument against minimum living wage. If billions of dollars of tax breaks can be given to filthy rich with hardly any trickle down effect, then why not minimum living wage?

It is almost like certain people here don't like the idea of 'specific' people surviving in life. Honestly, what complete piece of human garbage these people are. And always trump supporters in this garbage. I wonder why.

Trumpets and conservatives hate the poor. Even though they mostly reside in the poorest counties. Which is quite ironic.

Of course, you are also against assisting poor people in any way... So if people want to not starve what choices do they have?

Bra, I will have you know that I have initiated contact with Elon musk to move to Mars. That is the only place one may not find any communist as per your definition. I will DM you gofundme page soon, oh wait..

you're missing the important fact that he defines "communist" as "other person". :)

What planet are you living on? Of course it's possible!

And nobody said they will just switch to renewables overnight. First step is to switch to renewables for the additional energy needed as consumption grows, then later they can start replacing older power stations.

And just so you know, solar is cheaper than coal or gas power:

I would be careful with that. There are very few places where there is actually a free market for energy.

For example; from the report where you claim " solar is cheaper than coal or gas power":
The IEA says that new utility-scale solar projects now cost $30-60/MWh in Europe and the US and just $20-40/MWh in China and India, where “revenue support mechanisms” such as guaranteed prices are in place.
https://www.carbonbrief.org/solar-is-now-cheapest-electricity-in-history-confirms-iea

Isn't it shocking when there are "revenue support mechanisms" that the price is lower.

There are huge subsidies to solar power:

That being said, I am quite favourable to people building their own rooftop power systems for their houses (especially in South Africa), that is the only way that Eskom and their socialist electricity will get toppled.

Elon Musk is entirely dependent on state funding, I promise you he is quite happy with the US government

Hmmm...so Biden's pick for the Securities and Exchange Commission is someone who was at Goldman Sachs for 18 years (although he did work under Clinton and as the undersecretary for Obama's Treasury secretary Larry Summers)....the revolving door syndrome is alive and well.

Super smart:https://mitsloan.mit.edu/faculty/directory/gary-gensler

But yeah...

Hmmm... Mr Economics Researcher Media Analyst 'did the research' and yet failed to disclose anything except the 'bad things'.
