I would be careful with that. There are very few places where there is actually a free market for energy.
For example; from the report where you claim " solar is cheaper than coal or gas power":
Isn't it shocking when there are "revenue support mechanisms" that the price is lower.

That being said, I am quite favourable to people building their own rooftop power systems for their houses (especially in South Africa), that is the only way that Eskom and their socialist electricity will get toppled.
